A PERSONAL NOTE

Hey! I'm Cheryl

Hey there,

I’m Cheryl, and I help yoga students and teachers build confidence in their teaching and career development.

Before yoga, I was a professional ballerina. After retiring from ballet, I retrained as a yoga teacher. I’ve worked with the body and mind my entire life and have had the privilege of teaching thousands of students—but my path here wasn’t always straightforward.

I began my Yoga Teacher Training in the middle of a relationship breakdown and a major career transition, co-directing a dance studio. There was a lot happening at once—which, I’ve since learned, is often the case when people begin their YTT. We’re usually standing at a crossroads, seeking change, clarity, or a new direction.

In the years after my training, I continued practicing and deepening my understanding of yoga. Gradually, I realised that yoga—and the personal development woven through it—had become my anchor through life’s emotional ups and downs.

Then, about six years after my YTT, my life changed dramatically. I found myself in survival mode: little money, a young family to support, and a constant feeling of imbalance. I was searching for something that could steady me—something that would bring harmony to my work, my family life, and my mental health.

At the time, I was teaching just one yoga class a week at our local gym. Yet every time I walked out of that class, I felt more grounded, purposeful, and centred.

One day, a man stayed behind after class and said, “My doctor advised me to practice yoga—you see I’m on crisis watch, and this class is literally the one thing keeping me going each week.”

In that moment, I truly understood the power of yoga.

It wasn’t just supporting me—it was supporting everyone in that room. Each person carried their own story, their own struggles, many of which I would never fully know. But yoga was meeting them exactly where they were.

That conversation lit a flame inside me.

One class became two. Two became collaborations. Then a full timetable. A course. A Yoga Teacher Training. And eventually, an incredible, thriving community.

Now, I’m so excited to share this exclusive Guide For Teaching Yoga with you. Inside, you’ll discover how to identify your niche as a new yoga teacher and choose a style of yoga that feels aligned and authentic to you.

When you teach from that place, you naturally attract the students who are looking for you—and you stand out in what can feel like an ocean of yoga teachers.

This workbook will help you move past self-doubt and the constant question of “Am I good enough?” Instead, you’ll begin building real confidence in your ability to teach and create a flexible, sustainable yoga business that fits around your life—not the other way around.

I can’t wait to see you inside.
